Just a Thought…

Sometimes, I’m ashamed

To be Human.

If I step waaay back

From the Earth and

Look at it from a detached perspective,

It would be such a beautiful place

If you took away the Humans.

Well, maybe not ALL Humans.

But who gets to pick?

Me.

I get to pick.

And here’s who’s leaving, so far:

Politicians

Drug dealers/users

Those who drink and drive

Those who thrive on war

Those who thrive on hatred

Those who hurt animals

Those who hurt children

Those who think their religion is the ONLY one

Anybody who disagrees with me.

(Naw, just kidding!)

Let’s see…who else can I eliminate?

I’ve already wiped out about half (at least)

The people on the Planet!

Do you miss them?

I’m not talking about those

Who make mistakes.

Who hasn’t????

My list is endless.

My regrets are many.

For the REST of them,

It’s not just a mistake.

It’s their way of life.

How did we get in such

Pathetic shape?????

Yes, from out here,

It looks very peaceful.

What an illusion!

No wonder aliens haven’t been here!

Why would they want us????

Sigh.

I guess my plan isn’t very doable,

Is it.

So, perhaps I’ll just come back

Down to Earth

And make Peace in my

Own life.

My own space.

My own home.

And hope that it will

Catch on someday.

After all, that’s all ANY of us

Can really do, isn’t it?

But in the meantime,

I’m keeping my list,

Just in case I’m ever

Put in charge of the passenger list

For the flight to establish

A colony on another Planet!
