Okay, okay....but it's a start, right? lol lol

I arose this morning at the crack of dawn,

Using my hand to stifle a yawn.

 

I cracked an egg as I cracked a smile

And noticed a crack in the vinyl tile.

 

The curtains were open just a wee crack,

To allow enough sunlight to warm my back.

 

The news of the day is a total misnomer;

I can get more info from Marge and Homer.

 

So with that wisecrack, I happily say

Gonna crack the whip on the rest of my day.

 

And if this little ditty doesn’t make you grin,

I feel sorry for the state you’re in.
