       In Memoriam

It was too beautiful a day for dying.

Yet surrounded by loved ones
who must now somehow find a way
to fill the awful void left in their lives,

You boarded The Ship of the Departed
and drifted slowly, silently away,
as they tearfully whispered their farewells.

You have left us with only the memories
of your love, laughter and joyful Spirit.
And we will miss you, dear Friends.

But until our paths cross once again,
may your Journey continue
in the Light of Peace.
